It was exciting to see so many "retired" trade unionists using their skills in a new venue. I couldn't come at a better time with the economic crisis hammering pension plans and robbing retirees of a lifetime of savings. My old friend Art Kube, who was president of the BC Fed during the halcyon days of "Solidarity 83" had invited me to make a musical contribution and of course i was glad to accept.
All the minstrels of labour and supporters of minstrels of labour rallying.

Paula Fletcher, Bill Turner, Mark Bishop and Kevin Cassibo from the Rank n File. Kevin Wrycraft, the CAW balladeer; and singer/songwriter/activist Sara Marlowe have also agreed to be part of an exciting May Day program at the Tranzac Club in Toronto on Thursday, April 29.
Hope to have a new recording of labour music classics ready for the "Tough Times Tour"
