Planning The Tour!
Perhaps the most exciting thing about planning the tour is the contact with old friends from across the country, both musicians, or activists or both.
This year, the touring will start with a trio of gigs around May Day-surprised? It will begin at the Tranzac Club in Toronto on Thursday, April 29th, 2010. Tickets will go on sale mid-January. This May Day concert will feature a reunion of sorts of the Rank n File Band. So far, Bill Turner, Mark Bishop, Kevin Cassibo, and Paula Fletcher have agreed to join me and be part of this exciting show.
The parameters for the western leg of the "Tough Times Tour" are now finalized starting right after the May Long Weekend. Can't wait to see so many old friends out there.
I've agreed to stay on as Acting Chief AdMin Officer for the Trent University Faculty until March 31, 2010 on a reduced schedule so they can find a replacement, and I can concentrate on making music.
