I will be at the picket line tomorrow morning at Fleming College, where I'm enrolled and reinventing myself in the Third Semester in the paralegal course. Support staff are on strike to defend against precarious work, and i and my guitar will be there walking with them.

Sometimes, in life, there are more important things than straight "A"s. Honouring the collective struggle of the workers is one of them.

When I get home from Labour Day celebrations in Orillia, will be making up my picket sign "This student supports striking support staff".
